El tema de las variedades nacionales ha venido estudiándose exitosamente desde la segunda mitad del siglo ХХ. El objeto de esta investigación es el español andino de Perú, que pretendemos estudiar desde una óptica psicolinguocultural, que es un enfoque novedoso. Planteamos analizar la conciencia lingüística de los bilingües naturales del mundo andino, respondiendo a la pregunta si existe una conexión entre la lengua y la etnicidad, o un grupo étnico puede tener dos o más identidades lingüísticas. Entre la lengua y la etnicidad existe una interdependencia estrecha y directa. Por muy unido que parezca el idioma usado paralelamente por grupos étnicos diferentes, éste nunca será igual, porque el sistema funciona indivisible del componente psico- y linguocultural de la población que lo use, aunque conviva en el mismo territorio. Un grupo étnico, en situación monolingüe (o bilingüe artifcial, adquirida) no suele tener más de una identidad lingüística. En situaciones de diglosia, una persona que se desempeña como dos (o más) sujetos parlantes, usando uno u otro idioma según las circunstancias, reúne en sí dos (o más) personalidades lingüísticas.

National varieties of Spanish have been studied successfully since the second half of the XX-th century. Te object of this research is the Andean varieties of Spanish, which we intend to study from a psycholinguocultural perspective, which is a novel approach, developed by a number of Russian linguists.

Te research is aimed at analyzing some linguistic characteristics of the natural bilinguals of the Andean world and answering the questions, if there is a connection between language and ethnicity and if an ethnic group can have two or more linguistic identities. Between language and ethnicity there is a close and direct interdependence. However similar the language spoken by different ethnic groups living in the same territory may seem, it is only on the surface, as the language is determined by psycho- and linguocultural factors. A monolingual ethnic group does not usually have more than one linguistic identity, but in diglossia situations, a person who acts as two (or more) speaking subjects, using one or more languages depending on the circumstances, brings together two (or more) linguistic personalities.
