In addition, it is proposed to draw the students’ attention to the dual nature of the political poster as a genre of political aphoristic and its inherent intertextuality, potential problems in the interpretation of the slogan’s message. The article presents the developed methodology of working on a political poster as a part of lessons and for student self-directed learning.
