The journal Linguistics & Polyglot Studies announces a call for papers for its 2023 special issue focusing on language diversity and language heritage. Particularly featured are the following topics:

• social, psychological and applied aspects of polyglottery
• rarer, indigenous and minority languages
• writing systems and reading practices
• language and preservation of cultural heritage
• sociolinguistic trends in different parts of the world

Papers can be written in any of the 10 languages of the journal: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.

The deadline for submission is June 1, 2023.
