The journal Linguistics & Polyglot Studies announces a call for papers for its 2024 special issue focusing on multilingualism from individual, social and geographical perspectives. Particularly featured are the following topics:

• linguistic, social, and psychological aspects of polyglottery
• rare languages and writing systems
• interaction between oral and written culture
• local vs. international languages in current use
• language policy and geolinguistic trends across the world

Papers can be written in any of the 10 languages of the journal: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.

The deadline for submission is June 1, 2024.
